Breaking News: Letter To All 2012/2013 JAMB/UTME Canditates

Jamb has come and gone but its part and role it has to play in deciding whether a particular candidate will get admitted or not is still much profound. Jamb recently announced that they will soon start giving out Admission to those candidates they feel beat the cut-off marks of their various Universities, Polytechnics, and/or College of Education in Nigeria.. Remember, this same thing happened last year, where JAMB were busy granting Admission to different candidates without them even going for the screening text of their various chosen Universities, Polytechnics and/or College of Education.

Allot of candidates who where granted Admission by JAMB, ended up seeing their names on these various institution's Admission Lists. However, I have to say this, if you happen to see your name in the JAMB website that you have been admitted or you have been granted Provisional Admission, I will advice that you still take your Admission Issues still very serious by doing well in your Post UTME. With this way, I think you will have an edge over other students/candidates who where granted Admission by JAMB, and later went home and sat down thinking that they have already being admitted. Seriously, majority of students were later disappointed that after seeing there names on JAMB website has admitted students, they were not even known by their choice University, Polytechnic, and/or College of Education.

Lately, I have being receiving different types of calls and mails from users of NigeriaScholar requesting to know if there is still a chance for Admission Success for them despite there poor performance in JAMB. I kept on telling these users to still have hope and believe that they can still make it in their Admission Quest. My friend, Admission is one battle you just don't have to accept defeat. You just have to know that, every decision you make and everything you do from the very day you decided to write JAMB hoping to get to the University, Polytechnic, and/or College of Education in Nigeria to the very day Admission windows closes for these various institutions, will determine if you will get admitted or not.

Getting a bad or a non-encouraging JAMB score doesn't mean you should just sit back and relax- their is still hope, my friend. There are certain things you have to do to help yourself in such a situation. For example, you initially applied for Medicine and Surgery at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and when you checked your JAMB score, you got 220/400. From my experience in Admission Processes, I can confidently tell you that this JAMB score of 220/400 is not going to get you that Medicine and Surgery at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Now, what do you do? Simple. Just try now to get a JAMB change of course form and fill in a course similar to Medicine and Surgery which you believe you can cope with. If the University of Nigeria, Nsukka doesn't offer that particular course that you want to
change to, you can alternatively get a JAMB change of institution form Now. Remember, we are talking from the point view of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. This analysis may be different for various institutions, but I believe it's the same concept.

With just few months left in the 2012/2013 Admission Process in various institutions of higher learning in Nigeria, some students will be rejoicing about their admission success while others will be mourning. Please, don't criticize me for saying this, but it's the truth; it will definitely happen. However, admission failure is probably not our purpose and wishes for you all here in NigeriaScholar.

In other to help students with their Admission Quest and Dreams, NigeriaScholar will be providing a subsidiary service to her visitors all other the world. 2. Thanks for dropping by. We should be expecting the post-utme bells to be ringing soon. Some Universities in Nigeria will definitely start selling their post-utme forms pretty soon after they most have been through with their first semester exams. As for the particular date they will be writing the post-utme largely depends on the University. Hope we answered your question correctly?
